Dr Marc Mueller has over 15 years experience as a renowned ENT specialist and Facial Plastic Surgeon. As a qualified ENT surgeon Dr Mueller has extensive proficiency in the fields of nose and sinus surgeries, specializing in surgeries to amend snoring ailments.
In addition, Dr Mueller offers state of the art surgical techniques and equipment; whilst regularly attending the latest training courses in both Europe and the United states to continuously improve his knowledge and skills offering patients the latest medical advances. Dr. Sasa Janjanin is double board certified in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery. He is a Faculty member at Zagreb University School of Medicine and has been teaching otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery to students and residents from the University. Sasa has attained the very highest level of professional medical experience and code of ethics, and is highly regarded by his industry peers as a talented head and neck surgeon.
Dr. Janjanin received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the Zagreb University School of Medicine, and qualified as one of the top 5% of students in the class. He subsequently completed his surgical internship, followed by a residency in Otolaryngology as Head and Neck Surgery at the Zagreb University Hospital Center.
His advanced training was obtained with fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and spent periods of time practicing in some of the best centers in the both the USA and Germany. Part of his extensive training was devoted to basic and clinical science and as a Fulbright fellow he performed research in adult stem cells, tissue engineering and nanomaterials at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, USA. His scientific results eventually resulted in obtaining M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in biomedical sciences.
Dr. Janjanin has written more than 30 articles published in international peer-reviewed medical journals, and participated at numerous national and international conferences with more than 100 presentations. His efforts in research and advancement of clinical science were recognized by several international prestigious awards.
He extensively trained in complete surgical and medical treatment of patients with disorders and diseases of the head and neck. However, his major expertise is in facial plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery; skin cancer; surgery of the thyroid and parathyroid glands; pediatric otolaryngology; surgery for snoring and sleep disorders; and laser-assisted cancer surgery. He currently performs more than 500 surgical procedures per year.
